I just finished watching Ergo Proxy (that science fiction anime). I got to say that the ending was very twisted but it was somehow fitting. It was one of those that made you realize a sequel is impossible so the story left telling is up to ones own mind. I guess tonight my dreams will roll up the credits for my own little sequel of Ergo Proxy.

I liked it very much, that is overall. Parts can be very confusing at times, but usually by the end of the episode you know what is going on. The ending is also confusing, but you get the point, I guess. I feel like doing this wonderful Ergo Proxy fanart now. Maybe I will. Maybe it will portray Real and Vincent’s relationship (you know asmy thoughts are always so romantically mushy). Well see…

An aspect I really liked was that they included known culture in the series, such as they often said “raison d’etre” and refered to greeks and much literature. I like that as it links the story to our society. One can relate to it more. I’d like to do that as well in my manga (which I am still trying to complete the first chapter on), to incorprate literature or myths/legends in it. How, is something I’ll have to tackle later. I think finishing my first chapter is my highest priority now.

But Ergo Proxy isn’t the only anime (or manga) with real, culteral connotations. Even naruto has it. Did you know that Kakashi (me lurve Kakashi-sensei!) is named after a scarecrow? (Note the hair.) It suits him, and adds a bit more identity to him if you know what I mean. Also Team Gai in Naruto are all related to China. All these small fun facts makes the anime/manga more dynamic, I’d say.

It is something I will try my best to incorprate in my own manga. Wish me luck!

Strange…

It is strange… Life that is. But that, I suppose, everyone knew before for some strange reason I had to go and blurt it out on this blog entry. I’m not particularly saying “strange” in a bad way, I mean not everything in life is bad. Like Sam in Lord of the Rings said “there is good in this world, an it’s worth holding onto.” (Well it’s not a direct quote but it’s what I remember.) For example, I found it very strange that right into the blue I had this urge to watch Lord of the Rings The Return of the King the other day. I mean why? I had had no connotations with for at least a year for Gods sake!

I find it strange that just one fashion accesory can make you feel special and boost your confidence by trillons. Yes, I bought a new hat. It’s white and is that old-schoolboy-type-cap model, and at first I just tried it on for a laugh in the store but then my friends said that it looked really good, so I bought it. Well now I can stop wearing it and I feel great! Isn’t that strange?

What is also strange is that my dreamweaver hates my guts. I mean, what have I done towards it?? Whatever I want to do, it goes wrong and takes me ages to sort out. So much doesn’t work, changing my original super cool layout idea drastically. Oh well… at least I’m off my lazy ass and doing something on it!

Another strange thing: today I was in such a good mood all day and then suddenly – PLOFF! – I’m exhaustingly moody… Life is strange… or is it just me…?

First Blog Entry on WordPress…

I feel very guilty… why I hear you ask? Well simply because I haven’t updated my blog in aageess! Not even to say: “Hey people! I’m alive! Happy New Year! And – Oh! – I moved my site from blogger to wordpress!” I feel so bad… Please forgive me! I had a real crap banner here first but then I did this one today. I like it. ^_^ What ya think yourself?

Well, I sorted my Adobe Phototshop CS so now I’ve got that awesome program, and is obsessed with colouring all kinds of crap with it. Well, it’s good because I complete a lot more art work thanks to this obsession. Check out my most recent on deviantART .

I’m actually kinda busy as I am trying my best to make Berriesandpalms.com ready. But of course dreamweaver hates me… I also have to put together my manga’s website… the list goes on forever…

I’ll try to update here as often as I can though.

Near X-mas Update

OMG! I didn’t realize it was that long ago since I did a proper update here. Well, I’ll do one now, shall I?

Well first of all, I’m leaving for Sweden for Christmas on the 23rd. Yeah I know it totally sucks that it is that close to Christmas Eve (I’m a Swede! – I celebrate on the 24th!) and the flight is quite late. The probability that the flight is delayed, making us miss our connection flight, is high, but I hope that won’t happen…

I will have to study all christmas (as I said before) because of my damn mocks (a week after my birthday! – Shock! Horror!) but I’ll make the best of it! (Woah! Was I just positive there?? History has been made!) NOTE TO SELF: You gotta have some self-control this x-mas! – You don’t want to return to school looking like a plump pumkin!

OMG! Guess what?! I saw ERAGON yesterday! I have been waiting for it since I found out bout it in Summer! Sadly I didn’t see it in English, but I will! I will! At least Ed Speleers hottness wasn’t alternated. *drool at thought* XD
REVIEW: It was what I had expected. I knew they were going to have to cut alot from the book, but there were some tres disappointed outakes. E.g. Loads, and loads of places! And when they filmed the map, they had left out Surda! WTF!! They even left out Katrina! I seriously don’t understand how they are planning to do ELDEST…
One of the coolest parts though (not mentioning Ed Speleer closeups. *Pwoar!* LOL!), was when Durza made a gun pose with his hand, put gently by this guys head and silently a tear of blood started to roll down. Yes, the man died, but with SO much elegance you know! (I’m going through this violent phase… It’s a problem to eavesdroppers to my conversations. LOL!)

Oh yes, about my website. I love my layout now, but sadly I will have to change it as the iFrame is just too small. I will, however, try to keep that scrapbook style, but we will see…
This links to my New Years Resolution of completely revamping my website. I have realize long ago (though not had any time to do anything about it) that clearly my website doesn’t offer anything, except a load of links. Crap – I know. Though I have many features to share with the immense public of the internet. For example; Sims 2 skins, Avatars, Layouts etc. So all this will be added.
Also, expect to see soon a website (at under construction) for EARTH’S HEIRESS i.e. my manga. But this whole re-vamp will have to start after my mocks i.e. end of January. Hopefully it will all become so much more better!

I’m dreaming of a white x-mas…-What?! Already?!

November is freaking me out. The stupid media/businesses etc. has made x-mas x-tra long! (see what I did there? LOL!) Yes, I’m refering to everyone preparing for christmas already NOW in NOVEMBER! This isn’t right… but hey they don’t care as long as they get more money right? Urgh!

You wanna know why I’m so against it? Because this year christmas will consist of me studying. You wanna know why? Because exactly a week after returning from the oh-too-short holidays, I have my mocks for my GCSEs! Oh no! I’m probably going have this really lazy christmas and then freak out by New Years. Nice huh? ^_^

Well at least I have my birthday! Yippee! Oh wait a sec – no I don’t. I start school ON MY BIRTHDAY! Yes, we’re starting my dreaded school on the 8th January. OH great!

But it can’t be all bad, right? I mean the x-mas hols are supposed to be my favourite holidays! I mean first I have Christmas (that means pressies! ), then New Years, then the three kings (which they celebrate here in Spain, even though I don’t really…Anyway…) and then MY BIRTHDAY (that means even more pressies! XD)! I’m already feeling better! ^_^

If I think about it then this too-early-x-mas-preparations-campaign has had an effect on me. I’m actually looking forward to the actual christmas EVE (note: not after x-mas), so It has put me in a very christmasy mood (i.e. I start to sing x-mas songs…Don’t ask…) which is bad as it makes me humiliate myself. LOL!

But what has had most of an effect is the longing for snowboarding! It’s a sport that I started last year (went snowboarding twice then) and I love it! At first, very hard, and you are about to strangle someone, but in the end, you can’t help but to continue! (I have wierd hobbies, according to what I just wrote! LOL!) So anyway, I have this craving for snowboarding, and so I search it on the net constantly! LOL! Lookie here what I found. So kool! I really do hope that I can go on my school’s ski trip! I really, really do…!

Going back to preparations, I have designed the x-mas layout for Berriesandpalms.com, so that will be up at the start of december. I’ll give you a clue: It features Edward Speleers *swoon!* as in the film Eragon. Why? Well DOH! Eragon has its premiere on the 15th December! OH if only I could go to it…*dreams of the red carpet in London…* LOL! It would become very expensive as I’d have to first buy tickets, then a nice dress, then etc. etc. etc. …

One thing I’d have to think about is how I’d style my hair, and actually I’ve been thinking about that for sometime now… (then I mean not for my dream premiere – where I would meet gorgey Eddie…*swoon!*) I’m thinking about cutting it short. I’ve had my hair quite long for quite some time now, I might need some change… I was thinking of something like this. You like? Remember I’m dark blonde with quite a chubby face…

OMG! I’ve rambled sooo much! Well I’ll shut up now then.

Wierd Gun Dream…

Yesterday night I dreamt the wierdest dream. I don’t know if it was because the night before me and my friend had been giggling all night because of me making fun of loads of pictures on the internet… Anywayit went like this… :

I was with loads of friends when we decided to watch the classic film Breakfast at Tiffanys. The film was very “Gone with the wind” though about world war 2 (WTF?! I thought it was about eating breakfast at tiffanys! Yes, I have not seen the film…yet). Anyway, when we had seen the film we’re suddenly at my house at night and my dad orders everyone to go hide as the Nazi’s are coming. Everyone does but my dad gives me a gun with bullets that won’t shoot, only sound. I was to use it on the Nazis if they found me to scare them away (very stupid if they themselves have guns with actual bullets. XS). But they never came.
By this point I was in love with this gun and tried to scare anything or anyone. i.e. I carried around with it like as if it was a baby.

Wierd huh? I’m very curious what it means that I love a gun that doesn’t kill (if you don’t count scaring someone to death! ^_^)… Hmmm…

Anyway, I saw the funniest flash movies the other day. They’re called Naruto Flashdance etc. You can find them all (Hell yeah! They’re many! *yippee!*) here. They are soooo good! ROFL!!!

Numbness

Woah! Posting daily for a few days. I’m on fire! LOL! Anyway, if this was an audio blog, it would be a very bad one as I would mumbling in a muffled way. You know why? Because the dentist pulled out a tooth on me today and numbed half my face. Can’t feel a thing! ^_^ Hopefully tomorrow it won’t be that uncomfortable.

I had my physics test today. Well it went ok. I think I did alright. That’s all I’m going to say…
Tomorrow the last tackle: Biology. High Pitched SCREAM! Actually, I don’t think it will be too bad. I’ve gone over everything, I don’t know if I remember everything, but we’ll see how it goes.

As I’m doing P.E. for GCSE (I know what you’re thinking, “WTF?!”) I have chosen Riding and Dance to do (I’m doing short course). Today I worked with one of my dance partners on our dance, and you know what?! We’re almost done! Woot! Woot! That’s a humungus achievment you know, as it takes ages to compose like 5 seconds worth of dance! It’s true! Anyway, I’ll update you on that later…

I hate Mondays…

Read the title. Yes I do. I don’t have to explain, as everyone hates Mondays. They just do. So I’m no special in this case. (Actually I am, cause I just am. HAHA! XP) Anyway, considering that I have explicitly stated the obvious you will understand how I feel when I tell you today is a MONDAY. Shock! Horror! Oh yes, and I can’t say I had a bad day, it’s just – I hate Mondays…

Explanation time. ^_^ Chemistry test today. Need I say more? LOL! Strangly enough I didn’t get the “heeby-jeebies”, which is so unlike me. I think I passed, but if I didn’t, I will be quite disappointed as Chemistry was like the only test I studied for, but I still only knew the general basics. LOL! Realized that I didn’t know a WHOLE section by lunch time so with help from my BESTEST FRIEND (check out her deviant here, she will grately apprieciate it! ^_^) she managed to bang in some info into my overloaded brain. She stood by me as I repeated the same thing at least a million times during break, and actually listened! (I knew she did as she corrected me etc.) Talk about a good friend! ^_^

Well Physics tomorrow. I haven’t studied at all, but physics is kinda easier as we’re doing forces and motion and stuff. Not too worried, but actually that should worry me as when i don’t do anything and is really relaxed, I screw it up. LOL! It’s true though. Oh well…
Biology on Wednesday, now that I’m worried about. I will have to study like hell tomorrow. Oh God… X(

Maybe I shouldn’t be wasting my precious time in front of the computer when I could be revising?

Tennis – among a few…

Woosh! I’m physically exhausted! But in a nice way, you know, like I actually moved my ass for once. LOL! The reason? I played tennis with my dad and sis. I really like playing tennis – I’m crap, but it’s still fun, so that got to be something! LOL!

I don’t know but my sister seems to have something against me… I mean she always does (she’s my sister for Christ sake!) but you know something a bit more today… For a first she got really annoyed at me for simply being in the room – that’s new – and she just couldn’t stand me simply put… Wierd… :S But tehn again she’s probably jsut maturing into the adult bitch she truely is. LOL! Nah I shouldn’t be so harsh. She can be ok a day every leap year. LOL!

So yeah, basically that’s what I did today: played tennis while I should have been studying for those tests of mine. Apathy is taking over me. Oh shoot. ^_^
